Celebrex 200mg price in malaysia

WASHINGTON — Pfizer Inc. said Thursday that it will offer a generic version of its drug Celebrex to consumers who are prescribed the drug to treat a variety of conditions.

Pfizer said the drug, which costs about $55 a pill, will be available through May 13.

Celebrex, developed by Pfizer's New England Compound, is a treatment for arthritis, particularly in older adults.

Celebrex will be available to patients who have received a prescription for the drug by May 13. The Food and Drug Administration said the drug is not approved for use by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration for a heart drug, for an arthritis drug or in the treatment of high blood pressure.

"Pfizer is committed to ensuring that consumers are aware of the potential risks and benefits associated with using this medication," said John many, president of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. "The company is committed to providing patients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their treatment."

The company said it does not have information on how the drug could be used for other uses, and that it will continue to work with a regulatory body.

The company said it is pleased that Pfizer's decision to offer Celebrex was announced shortly before Pfizer's U. Food and Drug Administration approval of the drug. The agency approved Celebrex to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the inflammatory arthritis of the hand, and ankylosing spondylitis. Celebrex is used to treat a condition in which an individual has an allergic reaction to a certain substance, including a blood-thinning drug. Celebrex is not approved for use by patients with a condition that causes pain or inflammation, such as arthritis. Celebrex is not approved for use by patients with a condition that may be caused by surgery or an injury, such as an eye injury or surgery.

Celebrex is not approved for use by anyone who has had a heart attack, or has had a heart attack within the last six months.

The drug is available by prescription only. Generic versions are not expected to come off patent or be available for sale by the end of the year, said Pfizer spokesman Tim Merritt. Pfizer will work with the FDA to determine whether a generic version of Celebrex is the appropriate drug for its condition.

The Celebrex patent expires on May 13.

Pfizer is committed to providing patients with information about the risks associated with using this drug, and that information helps provide patients with appropriate treatment options.

"Pfizer has worked with the FDA to provide patients with information about this drug and provide patients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their treatment," said George Gaffney, Pfizer vice president and chief executive officer. "We are proud to have worked with the FDA to provide information about Celebrex and its side effects."

The Food and Drug Administration approved Celebrex in 1998 for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

Celebrex, which is marketed as Celebrex, is not approved for use by anyone who has had a heart attack or other serious heart problems, such as a heart attack, a stroke or heart failure.

The drug's label also lists the potential risks of Celebrex, such as the increased risk of stroke and heart attack. Pfizer has not received a written response to questions about the drug's potential risks.

Pfizer, which makes its largest U. drug, Pfizer Cardiovascular Products, said Friday it will offer Celebrex to customers who have not received a prescription for it.

"We are pleased that Pfizer has decided to offer Celebrex to customers who are prescribed the drug by a Pfizer cardiologist," said John many, president of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.

A study published in theAnnals of Orthopedic Surgeryfound that Celebrex users experienced a significant increase in the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, heart attacks and strokes in the long term. In addition, celecoxib has been reported to cause an increase in the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Introduction to Celecoxib

Celecoxib, marketed under the brand name Celebrex, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) specifically developed to reduce pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in patients aged four to 74 years. It is commonly used for the treatment of various conditions, from rheumatoid arthritis to rheumatism in the bursa.

Historical Background and Mechanism of Action

Celecoxib was formulated in the form of an oral tablet, being its principal function at the time, as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Its principal composition is metoprolol, which is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that works through the reabsorption of serotonin in the postsynaptic receptor in the postsynaptic neuron, and this reabsorption increases the availability of this neurotransmitter at synapses and alleviates pain and inflammation. The risk of developing cardiovascular events with NSAIDs, however, has been significantly reduced with the emergence of selective serotonin uptake inhibitors (SSIs) including Celebrex, which are specifically designed to lower high blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular events related to these medications.

Its Unique Form and Dosage Form

Celecoxib is available in various doses, including 200mg, 400mg, and 800mg. The 400mg dose is commonly prescribed for the management of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, while the 800mg dosage is specifically indicated for the treatment of various conditions, including pain and inflammation.

Its Unique Dosage Form and Mechanism of Action

Celecoxib is available in various forms, including capsules, tablets, and oral suspensions. The dosage form of Celebrex is prescribed for the treatment of various conditions, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and acute pain.

          Competitive Pricing

Celebrex is significantly cheaper than other forms of Celecoxib, with some form of generic equivalent available in generic strength. However, generic forms of Celebrex have also been developed to meet similar patient needs, thus further limiting the competition. Generic versions of Celebrex are available in a lower cost, and some generic formulations, such as 200mg capsules and 400mg tablets, are also available in lower cost generic forms.

          Safe and Efficient Use

The manufacturing and distribution of generic Celebrex have not infringed upon the patents of its original patent, thus potentially contributing to its reduced costs.

          Side Effects and Precautions

Celebrex has the potential to have adverse effects, which are generally mild and transient in nature. The occurrence of gastrointestinal disturbances, such as nausea and vomiting, has been reported frequently, although they have not been extensively studied in clinical trials. Other possible adverse reactions include joint pain, rash, and changes in taste.

It is crucial to note that any adverse reaction to Celebrex should be carefully observed and documented when necessary to avoid systemic complications. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, such as ulcers, bleeding, or a tendency for ulceration should also be observed for monitoring of safety.

Generic Celebrex has been offered at a much higher price to compete with branded versions, making it more accessible to a wider population. This is due to the widespread use of generic Celebrex, which reduces the number of frequent and severe adverse reactions associated with branded Celebrex, thus increasing the chances of patient safety and ensuring the continuous improvement of its usage in the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Achieving Quality Control and Safety Enhancement Programs

Manufactured in the same pharmaceutical companies as Celebrex, ensuring the same clinical standards and providing the same benefits in terms of reducing inflammation and pain, Celebrex has gained extensive commercial recognition and is an established drug. Quality assurance programs, which are designed to assure that the drug is in a comparable range, are particularly important when it comes to the treatment of patients with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, specifically those with rheumatoid arthritis, an inflammatory disease. These programs are intended to enhance safety and effectiveness of the drug, while also ensuring that any adverse reactions are not likely to occur during clinical trials.

Furthermore, as with all generic drugs, there are specific precautions and warnings regarding the use of Celebrex.
